Having a rental car in Tokyo, offers you the flexibility to see some of Japans most famous temples and unique neighborhoods in Tokyo. Osaka is the 2nd largest city in Japan.  As a result of the size and expansive nature of Osaka, the best way to get around is with a rental car.  Once you pick up your rental car you be able to drive to some of Japans most famous temples and parks located throughout the city of Osaka. A few notable parks are Nakashima Rose Garden, Kema Sakuranomiya Park and the popular Osaka Castle Park. Sights worth driving to is the nearby town of Nara home to the Todaiji Temple. It’s the largest Buddha statue in Japan.  If you drive an hour from downtown Osaka, you will discover the famous Himeji Castle (Shirasgi). Although there is plenty to see and do in the city of Osaka, you will want to use your rental car to drive out too many of the tourist sites surrounding the region of Osaka.  You should consider spending time in the Kansai region to take in the gorgeous scenery, culture and delicious cuisine this area is famous for. Drive out to the city of Kobe home to the famous Wagyu beef and visit some of Japan’s important museums, landmarks, restaurants and sake breweries. Consider driving to the ancient capital of Kyoto a stunning a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a full day of sightseeing.  Both destinations are only an hour from downtown Osaka.  Another wonderful trip is to drive out to the town of Kurashiki where you will enjoy stunning canals offering visitors a great way to travel around this historic town.  Wherever you drive your Osaka rental car, you are sure to have a great time in the country of Japan.
